Hello all. New to this forum and the world of 3D printing. I have just bought an Anycubic Photon S. When I inserted the USB stick with the slicing software, I get a message telling me that I need to format the disk. I believe that doing this will delete all the data on the stick. What should I do?
As I am not very computer literate, a step by step “idiots guide” would be appreciated please,

Hi Ian,
I’m not sure why you are inserting software with slicing software in your photon?
Slicing and preparing your model is something done on the PC; then the file (in your case .pws or .photons) is put on USB and inserted in the photons machine.
I would check out first some tutorials from Anycubic on printing.

yes, I meant into my PC, not the printer. It would appear to be working OK now. It took forever for the USB to open, but got there eventually.
