Creality HALOT-MAGE S 3D Printer profile

#1

I’m trying to print on a new resin printer - the Creality Halot Mage S 14k resolution printer. The printer is not available as an existing machine profile. When I made a new machine profile (copied from the closest Creality machine and modified with the Mage S specs) - the printer says that the file does not match the machine and does not allow me to print the file.

Why? How do I fix the issue?? Could a profile be added? Thanks for reading!

Hi,

I’ve tried a quick slice with the halot official software.
It seems the file format is still the same; cxdlpv4, because with Formware3d you can read back the file (print job -> import)

But they’ve hardcoded the machine type in the filename. It requires a software update from our side, which will come in a couple of days.

I’ll change that going forward to make that name a setting inside our machine profiles. It seems they always hardcode their machine names inside their file formats.

Alternatively you can use UVTools to change the name of the machine paramter to R006.

kind regards
Elco
