Default IP adress nanodlp

#1

Is it possible to change the default IP adress when exporting to nanodlp?

#2

Yes. You can do this in the machine settings (configuration -> machine -> workflow tab)

Where do I put the ip adress or how do I link to nanodlp on raspberry pi?

When you use a preset profile (like d7 in your case) we’ve taken the liberty of disabling items that were not needed.

I wasn’t aware the D7 supports NanoDLP.?

You have 2 options:

  1. ) activate the nanodlp section for this machine in the settings.xml file. Look for: true
Your settings file is located here:
    C:\Users{windows_username}\AppData\Roaming\3D_FORMWARE3D_{741D228E-AC07-40C2-A9DC-560B18A54F03}\settings.xml

  2. add a new machine from scratch (DLP type) and setup as you like.

The screen will in both cases then look like:

The D7 can be setup to work with nanodlp using custom firmware but not out of the box. see: https://3dprinterwiki.info/d7/d7-nanodlp-settings-2/

This is an often used solution on the D7 facebook group because the d7 requires a dedicated pc that sends the image slices.

I understand now that you have customized the presets to exclude features that do not come with the machine. I hadn’t considered that.

Thank you for your explanation.

Great thanks for the answer.

I need to update our documentation urgently to reflect the current configuration. Plan to get to it next week.
