File transfer via UDP really slow

Hi,

I’m using the Phrozen edition of Formware on a Sonic 4K. The printer is connected to the router with an Ethernet cable, the computer is also connected to the router via an Ethernet cable. The network connection is Gigabit. But when transferring files via UDP Machine Upload after slicing, the file transfer is extremely slow. I’ve checked that the bandwidth usage is not restricted. I’ve also tried the computer’s wifi connection but it is just as slow. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Hi,

Yes it’s not the fastest way…
The protocol UDP is really old and they way it’s implemented on the chituboards is slow.
The packages are small.
