HALOT ONE Timings are off since last update

#1

Since last update, there is an issue with the exposure times where a 30 minute print shows it will take 7 hours when you load it on the printer. if I run the sliced file by UVTools, it exports with the correct times using CXDLP V3.

Hi Gonzalo,

  • which version are you using?
  • you mean ony the estimated printing time is wrong?
  • or the actual exposure times performed by the printer are wrong?

I don’t remember changing anything in the cxdlpv3 format.

By default the software makes an estimate of the printtime by calculating:
exposure time + resting time + 2 x movement time… etc.
Or, if you have choosen to override the print time estimate (checkbox in print profile) it will use that time the amount of layers.

Elco, thank you for your quick response!
I think it was my mistake somewhere, after rolling back to 1144 and re-instaling 1145, it all works fine now.
By the way, there is no path to roll back to a previous version without losing all the material settings, support profiles, etc… Unless im missing something. When I tried to install 1144 over 1145, it said: “a newer version was found” and would not let me proceed.
Thank you!
Gonzalo

Hi Gonzalo,

“Newer version was found”, yes that’s the windows install system doing that.

The route it:

  • uninstall 1045 (but say ‘no’ when asked to delete the settings)
  • install 1044.
There is a small change a setttings change will not be backward compatible… (settings file wont be read by 1045). But if that happens the current software backs up the settings for you in the settings folder.

kind regards
