Although you have the function for manual internal supports, it is cumbersome to add as the centre for rotation is not near the area being worked.
Would it be possible to either centre the rotation around the first point of the support.
Or
Have a single support that automatically finds the base after clicking where it’s to support the part. Using a single support as per auto support setting.

it’s something we’re looking at; branching to others.
What you could try is make an internal support with just 2 points, so you get a vertical beam.
then with teh ‘connector’ command you can add more branches by clicking part->support.
basically the connector command allows you to add any type of connection… did you try this?

Yep do that already but it’s a pain. Especially trying to rotate to mount the base. Keep having to zoom out and back in.
